WATCH: Shakira celebrates possible ‘legal custody battle’ victory after meeting with Gerard Pique and his lawyers

Shakira and Gerard Pique
The separation of souls has already taken place between the infamous ex-couple Gerard Pique and Shakira, only the legal custody of their children and assets remains, which also has somewhat been determined as the Colombian popstar was seen happy and waving at her fans after walking out of the meeting with ex-boyfriend and his lawyers.
The Barcelona star and the Colombian singer were about to get involved in a legal battle surrounding their children’s custody and determine who gets to keep the children and how. The legal professionals believed that the player could have a better chance of winning, but, the fight for assets is not worth calling a battle.
However, even after much speculating it has not been confirmed officially by any of the two stars. As their lawyers claim to still have an ongoing agreement so that they don’t end up at trial. Agreements could change overnight as both the stars are still to decide on the future of their children and what’s best for them.

What led to the Shakira-Gerard Pique legal battle

There was no attempted need for the celebrities to go on a trial following their own breakup that was caused by the Barcelona star’s controversial infidelity which has spread like a fire. But, the need for the legal battle started as soon as the concern for the children came aboard.
The once famous couple had decided to fight it legally as Shakira was alone taking care of her children amidst rumors of the player stopped providing daily needs for the ends to meet. Children are something that is the most important part of one’s life and so are Milan and Sasha in the ex-couple’s life.
After the claims by legal professionals that the battle could fall into the defender’s lap as the children have grown up in Spain, the ex-couple seems to have decided to have a pact or an agreement of 15 days each custody which would eliminate the trial procedures
