For nearly a decade, Shakira, the celebrated Columbian singer, and her partner, former Barcelona player Gerard Pique, lived in a luxurious villa in Barcelona with their two sons. However, their relationship met a bitter end last June and their narrative since then has been filled with confusing turns and, seemingly, sheer mess. But, with Shakira and her children recently relocating to Miami, it appears the events have finally reached a new phase.
As Shakira moved back to her home in Miami, she refused to leave behind anything in the Barcelona house. This also includes the trees that had grown in the garden. While Shakira has certainly made a permanent move, one mystery remains: the tree digs out. Recently, a passerby caught the striking sight of a large crane taking up one of the trees and removing it from Shakira and Pique’s former home.
The reasons for this curious scene are still uncertain. But Shakira’s goal of leaving her Barcelona home absolutely empty could be an answer to the questions. Her fans on her social networks have applauded the artist’s decision and, as expected, they have not lacked touches of humor. “I wouldn’t leave even a tree for Clara Chia”, the netizens wrote.
Shakira and her children have already started their life in Miami and Milan and Sasha have returned to their new school. Shakira and Gerard Pique had reached an agreement for the custody of their children so that the singer could take them to live in Miami with Pique acquiring the house. It seems that Shakira doesn’t want her partner to enjoy all assets of the house after almost fully emptying it.

Shakira’s parents leave Barcelona in an air ambulance
Shakira left Barcelona many months ago but she was not able to take her parents with her, until now. She moved to Miami with her children after the split from former Barcelona defender Gerard Pique, one which has not been smooth and without controversy. She wanted her parents to come with her to the United States of America but due to health problems, William Mebarak and Nidia Ripoli were not able to make the journey.
Shakira has been doing all she can to help them and now they have left Catalunya in an air ambulance. “The plane that will take them is an air ambulance. A doctor will travel with them and watch over them at all times,” according to a source. Shakira’s parents are no longer in Spain, so it is said that they could already be in Miami with her and her children, Milan and Sasha.
“William Mebarak Chadid and Nidia del Carmen Ripoll Torrado are no longer in Spain, so they could be by their daughter’s side in this new beginning of life. The house where Shakira has lived these last few years, first with Pique and his children and then without the footballer, has been very busy these days because the move was taking place. Today, a health care van has come to the vicinity to collect several oxygen cylinders and medical equipment used by the Colombian’s father,” media reports said.
