Shakira's new album releases on October 19

The new song Monotonia, which Shakira, an international pop singer from Colombia, is working on alongside Ozuna, has been given a release date. On Sunday, October 9, 2022, she formally confirmed the news through her social media accounts and every details regarding her new album

The song will be made available to the public on October 19, 2022. She described the specifics in a video and an image song title that featured a heart being stabbed by a knife. “Un pequeo rey con una sper reina,” was the comment made by Ozuna on the same post meaning “A little king with a super queen”.

According to numerous sources, the song is about Shakira’s breakup with former lover and Spanish professional footballer Gerard Pique. In June, the pair made an official announcement that they were divorcing due to allegations of Gerard Pique’s infidelity and cheating allegations on him.

According to rumors, Clara Chia Marti, Gerard Pique’s new girlfriend, is now expecting Pique’s child. A lyric from the song was released that Shakira had previously shared hinted that the song will be about her former relationship and her struggle to end it. Everybody anticipates the new album.
