A new video of the events surrounding the confrontation between Cristiano Ronaldo and Erik ten Hag has surfaced online, and it is damning. During Manchester United’s 2-0 victory over Tottenham last week, Ronaldo steadfastly declined to enter as a replacement.

Later, Ten Hag kicked him out of the first team and didn’t include him in the matchday roster for their Premier League match at Chelsea. It now appears that Cristiano Ronaldo and Ten Hag were speaking during the match before the star forward rushed out of the tunnel in a new video.

The future of Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United remained unclear. The Portuguese forward has been on the sidelines for the majority of Erik ten Hag’s tenure so far, and things reached a breaking point against Tottenham Hotspur.

According to The Manchester Evening News, the manager requested that Ronaldo enter the game as a substitution in the 89th minute. Before the game’s end, the striker was seen strolling down the tunnel, and he later exited Old Trafford as well.

Ronaldo has now left Old Trafford twice before the game has ended, likewise, the forward and several other players were criticized by Ten Hag for leaving the club’s preseason friendly against Rayo Vallecano at halftime. Ronaldo’s contract expires at the conclusion of this season, but if he and United can reach a deal, there’s a chance he’ll be free to depart in January. David Beckham could be able to provide him with a solution if that’s the case.
