In a recent interview, Pep Guardiola admitted that his team Manchester City might face big trouble ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final against Liverpool. The team had to fight a fiery battle to reach the Champions League semi-final, in which they will now face Real Madrid.

Pep Guardiola is worried about his side after their two players faced an injury during the clash against Atletico Madrid. Kevin De Bruyne and Kyle Walker will be assessed by the doctors to check on their injuries. However, the Spanish manager also emphasized that they will not sit unhappily and are going to celebrate the win against Atletico as City has reached the semi-finals for the third consecutive season in the history of their club.

“We are in big trouble. We cannot forget we played three days ago a tough game against Liverpool. We came here, we have a lot of injuries,” said Guardiola.

“I don’t know what will happen in the next weeks but today we are going to celebrate. It is the third time in Manchester City’s history we are in the semi-finals of the Champions League, and it is a big success for us to be there,” added the Spaniard.

Manchester City will have a tough time in the coming weeks as they will look to continue their title race in the Premier League. They will face a strong Liverpool side in the FA Cup semi-finals on Saturday, and they will have to face another Spanish Giant, Real Madrid, in their semi-final tie in the UEFA Champions League.

However, Pep Guardiola looks worried about the injuries ahead of the FA Cup tie against Liverpool this Sunday but he believes that his other players can put up a good fight unless De Bruyne, Foden, and Walker are totally fit to play.
