“He hasn’t told me he wants to leave” – ten Hag on Cristiano Ronaldo

Speaking in a press conference as reported by Fabrizio Romano, Eric ten Hag said, “I spoke with Cristiano Ronaldo before this issue came up. I had a good conversation with him. He hasn’t told me that he wants to leave… I have read. We want success together.”

He also said, “What I said before, once again, I had a really good talk together. No, we are planning for Cristiano Ronaldo for the season and that’s it and I’m looking forward to working with him. I have read but what I say is Cristiano is not for sale, he is in our plans.”

Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Manchester United could cause a huge dent to the Red Devils as they gear up for the new season. Ronaldo is seen as their main no. 9 and his staying is vital as the club plan for other signings.
