Currently, the 24-year-old captain is set to leave the club and join a new club this summer with 12 months still left in his contract with a clause of extension for one year. The price set by West Ham on Declan Rice is €100 million.
Many European clubs want to sign the player. Currently Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea are in the race for signing the 24-year-old youngster.
However, due to this price of 100 million euros, both the player and the manager are getting many negative comments from many clubs and people. So to give a reply to these comments the manager of West Ham David Moyes told that Declan Rice is one of the best English midfielders in the league and that’s why he is so expensive when different clubs want to sign him. The manager just gave a clear-cut answer on why Declan Rice is so expensive.
David Moyes quoted, “Declan Rice is probably the best English midfielder around. Also, that’s why Declan is going to be very expensive if/when clubs come calling.”

Why Rice will not sign Chelsea but could sign Liverpool, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich?
Declan Rice is set to make a move outside the London Stadium. The English midfielder has grabbed the attention of big clubs. And the two Premier League clubs Liverpool and Arsenal are ‘going all out’ to sign the 24-year-old midfielder.
Liverpool’s manager Jurgen Klopp has told the media that signing Rice is his priority and he thinks that the youngster will add defensive qualities to the midfield of the team. And Klopp is ready to pay 100 million euros to bring the player to Anfield. Chelsea also wants to sign the player but is in negotiations with West Ham to lower the price as Chelsea has spent a lot in the January transfer window. And will buy the player at a discounted price.
But the English midfielder will either sign Chelsea or Liverpool as he has stated playing in the Champions League is his priority and in these. Although Rice could sign for Liverpool if they qualify for the Champions League as they are only a point behind Manchester United. But not for Chelsea as they will not get to play in the Champions League next season.
The best option for Rice could be Arsenal as Mikel Arteta also told that signing Rice is now the priority of the club. And Arsenal will play in the Champions League next season and can also win the League title. The German giants Bayern Munich are also in the race looking forward to bringing the English midfielder to Allianz Arena.
