“We’ve served around 852,609 pizzas since Chelsea last delivered a successful transfer announcement”- Dominos brutally trolls the Blues over its failure in transfer window
This past Monday, Domino’s Pizza gave Chelsea a reprimand in a tweet that quickly went viral. The pizza company has informed the London team that they are having trouble signing their transfer targets this summer.
Of all people, Domino’s Pizza has taken notice of Chelsea’s transfer woes this summer and added salt to The Blues’ wounds by tweeting the following on their official Twitter account. “Since Chelsea last delivered a successful transfer announcement, we’ve served around 852,609 pizzas,” says the company.
A tweet that exposed the London club and poked fun at them for the lack of quality signings they’ve made after being disappointed by Joan Laporta and Barça quickly went viral. He has amassed more than 10,000 “retweets” and more than 76,800 “likes” in only a few short hours. In truth, it is not unexpected that many of the responses to the tweet are coming from Catalan fans, who are living through a period of frequent appearances by A-list celebrities.
Chelsea is not having a good transfer window:

The current transfer window is not going well for Chelsea. Without realizing a profit, they lost Andreas Christensen to Barcelona and Antonio Rudiger to Real Madrid. Additionally, they loaned Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan. Last summer, the Belgian joined the London club, but he never met his expectations.
Barcelona and the Blues’ board have spoken several times this summer. especially in relation to Raphinha and Jules Kounde’s moves. The two players chose to move to Camp Nou over the potential of playing at Stamford Bridge despite Chelsea’s financial strength.
Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly from Manchester City have both agreed to join Chelsea (Napoli). Thomas Tuchel, though, wants to bolster his team with a few additional players. If Azpilicueta, Marcos Alonso, and Timo Werner depart the team as predicted, this desire will increase even more.
