The player has yet to confirm the story from his side. However, Chelsea have never denied the story. Hazard announced his retirement on the 10th of October.
Premier League coach backs Eden Hazard for ‘comeback’ days after announcing retirement
The Internet is deploring the retirement of former Chelsea star Eden Hazard. However, days after his retirement, a Premier League coach has called for his return. Kevin Nolan, a coach at West Ham United said that he’s more than willing to have Hazard at the club. “If he wanted to come and trial, I’d be more than willing to,” said Nolan.
He praised Hazard for being part of one of the best years and best goals in the League. Nolan said that a “player of his caliber” shouldn’t be hanging up his boots at 32. He also said he “wouldn’t be surprised” if the player decided to track back on his decision and make a comeback.
