The Saudi Pro League returns to the fold with another round of matches this weekend as Al Feiha plays host to Cristiano Ronaldo and Rudi Garcia’s Al Nassr side in an important encounter at the King Salman Sport City Stadium on Sunday. Al-Feiha currently sits midtable with a match at stake whereas Al-Nassr is challenging for the title.

Al Feiha is currently in 10th place in the Saudi Pro League standings and has not been at its best so far this season. The hosts slumped to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Al Hilal in their previous game and will need to be at their best to stand a chance this weekend. Al Nassr, on the other hand, is in second place in the league table at the moment and has been fairly impressive so far this season. The away side thrashed Al Adalah by a comprehensive 5-0 margin last week and will look to achieve a similar scoreline in this fixture.

The presence of Cristiano Ronaldo imposes a serious threat to the opposition as boasted in his current stats of eleven goals and two assists in nine matches. He is already in the top six of goalscoring charts in the league considering he just joined them in January. Al-Feiha won just one of their five previous matches and hopes to avoid relegation whereas Al-Nassr won their last four and aims to win the league.

Al Nassr has an excellent record against Al Feiha and has won eight out of the 12 matches played between the two teams, as opposed to Al Feiha’s paltry one victory which they last won in 2018. Their latest encounter resulted in a 4-0 thrashing by the visitors and they have kept clean sheets in each of their last two matches against Al Feiha. However, the hosts have suffered only one defeat in their last six home games in the Saudi Pro League and have scored at least twice in four of these matches.

Al Nassr has won five of their last six matches in the Saudi Pro League, with their only defeat during this period coming at the hands of league leaders Al Ittihad last month. Cristiano Ronaldo has been impressive for Al Nassr with his contributions so far. Only Anderson Talisca has been more prolific for the club this season with 16 goals and an assist to his name in 16 matches.

Al-Nassr is unlikely to leave Cristiano Ronaldo and Anderson Talisca from the starting eleven as both have been brilliant so far. The same starting lineup from Al Nassr’s 5-0 demolition of Al Adalh will likely take the pitch. As for Al-Feiha, they will probably start their strongest eleven despite their hurdles in the league.

Al-Nassr predicted XI: Nawaf Alaqidi, Ghislain Konan, Álvaro González, Abdulelah Al-Amri, Sultan Al-Ghannam, Luiz Gustavo, Abdullah Al-Khaibari, Abdulrahman Ghareeb, Sami Al-Najei, Anderson Talisca, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Al-Feiha: Vladimir Stojković, Bandar Al Mutairi, Hussein Al-Shuwaish, Sami Al-Khaibari, Mohammed Kareem Al Baqawi, Abdulrahman Al-Safri, Sultan Mandash, Ricardo, Mohammed Abousaban, Paulinho, Anthony Nwakaeme
