Egyptian maestro Mohamed Salah created history one year from today in the UEFA Champions League against Rangers FC. Salah clocked the fastest-recorded hat trick in the competition’s history. By doing this he etched his name ahead of some of the game’s greatest players.

Salah moves ahead of the best wingers, such as Raheem Sterling, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Robert Lewandowski. While the players got their hat tricks in over 10 minutes, the Egyptian King scored his hat trick in under seven minutes- in 6 minutes 12 seconds to be precise. It is even faster than Bafetimbi Gomis’ feat- who is second on the list after scoring it in 8 minutes.
