Indian billionaire tycoon Mukesh Ambani has contacted Liverpool with a takeover offer per the Mirror. The chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd. is a devoted sports enthusiast and is listed by Forbes as the eighth richest man in the world. Ambani founded the Indian Super League (ISL) and is the landlord of the Mumbai Indians of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Football is gradually hooking up to cricket as the most watched sport on the Indian subcontinent. Since the Premier League underwent an evolution and began concentrating on expanding its international presence thirty years ago, Liverpool has emerged as one of the most popular teams in India.

John W. Henry’s FSG is inclined to sell the team for £4 billion, which may not be enough to startle Ambani. After Liverpool’s pitiful try in the domestic season, the present owner decided to sell the team. The Reds are somehow sixth in the standings with 22 points after 14 games, amidst winning their last two matches against Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton.

Echo reports that Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has been mentioned in connection with a possible buyout offer for Liverpool. With a net worth of about £73 billion, the American billionaire is ranked as the tenth richest person in the world by Forbes.

Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool’s manager, is commended for restoring the city’s status as a world power in sports. In terms of potential suitors looking to purchase the club, the Merseyside giants have never looked more appealing. In November 2015, Klopp was appointed as the team’s coach.

He has since guided them to every significant award under the sky. He was supposed to leave the team in the summer of 2024, but in April he renewed his deal by an additional two years.
