Wrexham AFC earlier released a video detailing the arrival of King Charles and Queen Camilla. The club hosted the royal couple as they visited their ground in Wales last December. Recently, Wrexham co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney revealed the procedure and preparation that they underwent prior to their arrival.
In anticipation of their arrival, the club owners were made to sit through a Monarchy Bootcamp in which they were taught how to present themselves and behave with King Charles and Queen Camilla. The owners learned how to give a proper handshake. Two pumps and release, which was also shown in the teaser of the club’s documentary series Welcome to Wrexham. In yet another shot, Ryan Reynolds is seen sitting very still on a chair and jokingly whispering, “I feel like a serial killer.”
After the meeting, King Charles went on the record to state that he was thoroughly impressed by the Sporting activities in Wrexham. Adding that it is a wonder on its own and that the club was bust putting Wrexham on the Map. The second episode of the Docu-series is set around King Charles’ visit and will air soon. Reynolds jokingly posted the title of the second episode, Charles in Charge on his Instagram.
After the crash course in royal etiquette, the owners then met the Royal Couple. Meanwhile, the 2nd episode of the Docu-series is well anticipated and set to reveal how the club owners behaved around them. The episode is set to air on September 12, Tuesday.

Wrexham back to winning ways
Wrexham faced Doncaster Rovers in a game which saw Paul Mullin return to first-team action following a lung injury. Prior to the game, Wrexham were 13th in the Football League Two. But two goals sealed the victory for the Red Dragons as they rose to 7th in the table.
Midfielder Luke Young put the Red Dragons ahead 8 minutes to halftime when his deflected shot found its way into the back of the net past Doncaster keeper Ian Lawlor. The away side got one back through Modou Faal’s header early into the second half.
However, the side owned by Ryan Reynolds managed to grab all 3 points through another deflected strike by Elliot Lee late in the second half.
