“You have to ask me more difficult questions”- Atletico Madrid’s Director not interested in responding to Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer rumors

Enrique Cerezo, the president of Atletico Madrid, is adamant that the team already has a “great group” despite speculation that Cristiano Ronaldo may join the team.
According to reports, the 37-year-old Manchester United attacker wants to leave Old Trafford so he can play in the Champions League. Erik ten Hag’s Red Devils, who finished sixth in the Premier League last season, will play in the Europa League this coming year.
Ronaldo will be a part of Ten Hag’s plans for the upcoming season, which he revealed after taking over as a Man United coach in May. The club’s preseason excursion to Thailand and Australia was missed by the Portugal captain, who is now training alone and unsure of his future.
Cristiano Ronaldo not moving to Atletico Madrid?

During a recent club lunch at a restaurant in Madrid, Cerezo was questioned about the Ronaldo rumors. “You have to ask me more difficult questions,” came the administrator’s reply, as quoted by GOAL. “To easy questions, simple answers. It is considered answered.”
Cerezo, who was chosen to lead Atletico in May 2003, continued by saying: “We are having dinner with an amazing roster of players and a brilliant manager to kick off the early season. What more is there to ask for when we have everything?”
Following an underwhelming season, Atletico could use Ronaldo’s goals. Last year, Diego Simeone’s team finished third in La Liga, 15 points behind title holder Real Madrid, without taking home a trophy. In the quarterfinals of the Champions League, they were eliminated.
Ronaldo has one year remaining on his contract, and a number of teams have objected to a transfer for him, including Bayern Munich, Real, Paris Saint-Germain, and Chelsea.
