“Your dad used to kick me”: Robbie Savage jokes about Cristiano Ronaldo while he was seen giving advice to his son Charlie

Robbie Savage took to Twitter to jokingly caption Cristiano Ronaldo’s conversation with his teenage star son, Charlie Savage, during one of Manchester United’s training sessions.

In a clip posted on Twitter, the 19-year-old appeared to be receiving advice from United icon Cristiano Ronaldo. And Savage saw the funny side of the interaction by offering a hilarious caption to their conversation. Robbie Savage predicted what Ronaldo was saying to his son when he joked, “Your dad used to kick me” along with a laughing face emoji.

Charlie Savage was handed his Red Devils debut by interim boss Ralf Rangnick in the 1-1 Champions League draw with Young Boys at Old Trafford back in December. Savage Junior has been tipped to receive a Wales training call-up this summer.

The former midfielder turned BT Sports commentator and pundit Savage never reached the lofty heights of representing Man United’s first team, often plying his trade at mid-table sides and Championship clubs. Interestingly, his son Charlie could surpass the Welshman’s Red Devils career after making his Champions League debut earlier this season.
