El Clasico

According to MARCA, Real Madrid and Barcelona are planning a pre-season El Clasico to be held in Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium. The two teams were supposed to compete there in the summer of 2020, but the Coronavirus outbreak forced the tournament to be canceled.

According to the MARCA story, the first plan was to hold a competition with Juventus and AC Milan. If the story is correct, all four teams will leave their home nations to take part in the quadrilateral tournament held in the United States.

In spite of suffering a defeat from their archrivals Barcelona, Carlo Angelotti‘s men have put on a rampant display by already winning the league and qualifying for the champions league finals against Liverpool. Benzema will be looking to lead his team from the front to their 14th European title later this month.

On the other hand, Xavi has confirmed Barca a Champions League spot for next season and will be looking to start the season strong. And what better way to start the season than beating their rivals from Madrid.
