The worldwide stoppage of social media platforms Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram caused huge outrage around the globe. It reflects upon the fact that the world currently cannot sustain itself without being continuously connected.
And to reach out to people about the servers being down, Twitter came to the rescue! Hoardes of people flocked to Twitter to share their mutual anger and frustration.
Facebook, Whatsapp and Instagram all servers went down together at 3:42 PM (GMT) and it started to come online after 5 hours of complete shutdown. Mark Zuckerberg during this time of shutdown suffered a loss of about $7 million in net worth and he took to Facebook to apologize for this huge outage.
“To the huge community of people and businesses around the world who depend on us: we’re sorry,” Facebook said on Monday evening after all servers came online. “The root cause of this outage was a faulty configuration change No evidence that user data was compromised as a result,” the statement added.

On the other hand Brazilian international Neymar Jr too had a bad day. Despite possessing the world’s most threatening front three in Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar, the Parisians still couldn’t register a shot on target.
Paris Saint Germain faltered to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Stade Rennes. To make matters worse when Neymar Jr came to browse on his social media account, he found about the stoppage!
He took the defeat in a healthy stride and joked about the situation. Neymar Jr wrote, “Just Zuck’s weekend and mine that went bad or someone else’s too?”
