Giovanni Ferrari was an Italian football player who played as an attacking midfielder. He is recognized as one of the best players for Italy as well as one of the best footballers during his era.

With the Italy national football team, he claimed the Serie A a record eight times in addition to two straight FIFA World Cup victories (1934 and 1938). Only three Italian players, including him, have lifted two World Cups.

4. Eraldo Monzeglio – Italy (2)

Eraldo Monzeglio was an Italian association football manager and player who featured as a full-back defender. Eraldo Monzeglio had an extremely fruitful football career, as he was one of only four Italians to play during both the 1934 and 1938 World Cup successes. He earned 35 caps for his country over a 16-year career.
He debuted as a full-back, but together with Virginio Rosetta and Umberto Caligaris, he grew into one of Italy’s finest pre-war defenders.

3. Daniel Pasarella – Argentina (2)

The Daniel Passarella-led Argentina earned their first FIFA World Cup crown by beating the Netherlands 3-1 in 1978 final. Daniel Passarella won his second FIFA World Cup eight years later, defeating West Germany 3-2 in the final.

In 1958, Hilderaldo Bellini became the first Brazilian to win the World Cup. He won the second World Cup in 1962 and subsequently served as team captain in the 1966 FIFA World Cup.

Bellini is praised for beginning the football tradition of hoisting the trophy into the air. He did this originally to allow videographers a nicer view of the trophy, but as the photographs were released around the world, the expression became affiliated with triumph.

1. Pelé – Brazil (3)

Pelé holds the record for the most FIFA World Cup triumphs, with three. Pelé is the only player in heritage to have helped Brazil win three FIFA World Cups, in 1958, 1962, and 1970. Pelé tallied 77 goals for Brazil during his career, making him the country’s all-time leading goalscorer. Twelve of his 77 total international goals with Brazil came in FIFA World Cups. Pelé produced six goals in the 1958 FIFA World Cup.

Twenty players are tied for second place with two victories each in the FIFA World Cup. Eraldo Monzeglio, Giovanni Ferrari, and Guido Masetti all competed for the Italian National Team and became the first players to win two FIFA World Cups. The 1934 and 1938 FIFA World Cups were won by Monzeglio, Ferrari, and Masetti, respectively.

The 2002 FIFA World Cup was the most current World Cup achieved by a player with two World Cup triumphs. Cafu and Ronaldo both helped Brazil win the tournament’s championship. No player has succeeded in winning the competition more than once ever since FIFA World Cup in 2002. But the forthcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022 may change that.
