Gerrard has scored 120 goals in his 710 appearances for the English Club and is at the fifth position in the list of highest goal scorer of Liverpool FC.

The Scottish footballer Billy Liddell is one of the most versatile strikers to have played in Liverpool. He was a very strong player with very fast dribbling skills and had the abilitiy to play on both wings and even as central striker when needed. During his time in the club Liverpool even gained the nickname of Liddellpool.

Liddell made his debut with Liverpool in 1946 and since then he created history. He was the highest goalscorer of Liverpool for eight seasons from 1949-1958 and has scored a whooping 228 goals in 534 appearances for the English Club, still holding the record of the fourth highest goalscorer in the history of Liverpool.

Gordon Hodgson, the South African born striker signed with Liverpool on 1925 and went to become one of the greatest Goalscorers of the Football League. The striker was known for his pace and his ability to take powerful shots with both of his feets.

The striker was one of the most unselfish players on the field and was best known for his link up gameplay but he still managed to score 241 goals in 377 appearances to become Liverpool’s 3rd highest goal scorer. After spending 11 years in Liverpool Gordon moved to Aston Villa in 1936.

Roger Hunt joined Liverpool in 1958 from Stockton Heath and the rest is history as he went on to become the highest goalscorer for Liverpool in the League. Liverpool fans referred to him as Sir Roger, bestowing him with a honourary knighthood.

He had a great offensive awareness and a great eye for goal. He played a major part in England winning the world in 1966. Roger Hunt scored 285 goals in 492 appearances in his 11 year spell in Liverpool. Sir Roger recently passed away in 27th of September 2021 at the age of 83 as he succumbed to his illness which he was suffering from a long time.

Ian Rush

The Welsh footballer, Ian Rush was an absolute master of striking the ball at the back of the net and was always there to score whenever his team needed him. Ian Rush signed with Liverpool from Chester City in 1980 for a record fee at that time and since then he went on to create history.

Rush spent 6 years in Liverpool before he accepted an offer and went on to join Juventus where he was again loaned to Liverpool on his first year. Ian Rush went on to score 30 goals in his 42 appearances in his loan spell for Liverpool. Later on he rejoined Liverpool in 1988 and played for 8 more years scoring a total of 346 goals in 660 appearance for the English Club Liverpool FC.
