PSG is interested to sign Everton forward Richarlison as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe

Paris Saint Germain is looking for an alternative for the French striker Kylian Mbappe since he has not accepted any contract renewal option from PSG and will most likely be moving out in this transfer window.
PSG is reported to have targeted the Brazillian forward Richarlison, who is currently playing in the English Premier League for Everton, as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe.
The French outlet RMC has reported that PSG has made contact with Richarlison’s agent and is trying to work out a possible transfer. According to his value in the Transfermarkt, PSG might have to spend about 50 million to sign Richarlison, as the striker is in contract with the Merseyside until 2024.
According to reports from the French media Kylian Mbappe has not accepted the latest offer of PSG and is strongly linked with Real Madrid. In the last four days of the transfer window, it will be entertaining to see if Real Madrid comes up with another bid for the Frenchman or not.
Richarlison had a great run this season. He led the team in the attack and won the gold medal for Brazil in the Tokyo Olympics 2020, scoring 5 goals and 1 assist. He was the top scorer in the tournament. Richarlison has played 123 games for Everton and has scored a total of 43 goals.
Pochettino believes that Mbappe will stay at PSG this season
PSG head coach Mauricio Pochettino is convinced and believes that Mbappe will stay at the club as of now and will look to achieve as much as he can with PSG this season.
“Kylian is relaxed, he is our player and I don’t see him being anywhere else this season. Lots of things are said and I know from experience that some things happen and others don’t. The only conversations I have with Kylian are about football. He has a year left on his contract if he doesn’t renew it. We are happy with him and from what I see he is happy with us too,” Mauricio Pochettino said, quoted from Republic World.
This summer transfer window has been one of the great successes for Paris Saint Germain. They have signed not one but 5 players this summer which includes the likes of Achraf Hakimi, Sergio Ramos, Georgino Wijnaldum, Gianluiggi Donnaruma, and Lionel Messi. They are preparing for their sixth transfer in this window by signing Richarlison as Mbappe’s replacement which might also not go through if Mbappe decides to stay in PSG until the end of his contract.
