Sergi Barijuán expresses his disappointment in the post match conference after 3-3 draw against Celta Vigo
FC Barcelona has yet again come up with a disappointing performance after they nullified their first half 3-0 lead to draw against Celta Vigo in Balaídos.
Ansu Fati, Sergio Busquets and Memphis Depay provided a 3-0 comfortable cushion to Barcelona in the first half as they went on to brilliant control the game and gave an excellent performance.
Somewhere in the second half the Catalan side looked very shaky with Ansu Fati and Eric García getting injured as they soon started to concede goals. Iago Aspas was the man of the hour as he scored the equaliser for Celta Vigo at the 95th minute of the game stealing the game right from the mouth of FC Barcelona.
Sergi Barijuán upset as he fails to win his first away game with FC Barcelona
“Substitutions due to injuries made us change a lot of things, but that is no excuse,” said Sergi Barijuán, the interim coach of FC Barcelona in the post match conference.
Celta Vigo was excellent in the second and they definitely had the final result to prove that, “The second half was not what we wanted. We just could not get out of pressure.”
“When this team does not so many injuries it will be able to achieve great things,” said Sergi Barijuán.
“It’s a shame not to be able to celebrate the first win away from Barca this season.”
