Novak Djokovic has won the Roland Garros 2023. The win at the clay court makes it the 23rd Grand Slam title of his career. After his win, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was seen pouring his love into the Serbian. Zlatan himself ended his footballing career with AC Milan earlier this month, drawing a stellar career to a close.

The victory over Casper Ruud in the French Open final, which gave Novak Djokovic his 23rd grand slam championship, made him the most successful male tennis player of all time. Had he defeated the 24-year-old Norwegian in straight sets, he moves one spot ahead of Rafael Nadal, the “King of Clay,” on the all-time list of grand slam champions. He is currently thought to be the favorite at Wimbledon.

Ibrahimovic names his top XI

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has chosen his ideal XI from among the top players he has ever played with. Ibrahimovic has shared the pitch with some world-class teammates over the years.  In his book ‘I Am Zlatan,’ he reveals his dream team. Ibrahimovic had a wide range of teammates to choose from throughout his career.  He had represented many top clubs including Ajax, Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan, LA Galaxy, Manchester United, Barcelona, and, of course, his nation Sweden.

Zlatan names Gianluigi Buffon as the ideal goalkeeper for the team. The defense is made up of Maxwell, Lillian Thuram, Thiago Silva, and Alessandro Nesta. The midfield comprises of Patrick Vieira, Pavel Nedved, and current Barcelona boss Xavi. Ronaldinho, Lionel Messi, and Zlatan himself complete the attack.

Julio Cesar, Andres Iniesta, Gennaro Gattuso, Fabio Cannavaro, and Clarence Seedorf make the bench for the team. Interestingly, Ibrahimovic earlier had named David De Gea as his backup goalkeeper. His name was scribbled on and replaced by Julio Cesar later. This had led to some trolling on social media for the current Manchester United goalkeeper.
