Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool: In the COVID struck 18th gameweek of the Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur squared off with Liverpool at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tottenham Hotspur started the game with great intensity and compounded the pressure on Liverpool in the first half. In the first 20 minutes, Liverpool were found all over the pitch and the Kane-Son duo dominated. Though Kane found the back of the net, Liverpool equalised within six minutes.
In the second half, both teams decided to entertain the fans with passion and aggression. Liverpool scored the second but was equalised in few moments after scoring the goal. Adding into the woes, Andy Robertson was sent off in the closing minutes of the game and becomes the first player after Alisson to get a red card since 2019. A fiercely competitve game came to a staggering 2-2 hault.

Hugo Lloris (7.0/10): The French shot-stopper was a star for THFC in the first half as he saved the blushes for the side with excellent saves.
Emerson Royal (6.5/10): The former Barcelona player was able to keep Mane at bay and created few chances as well. However, Harry Kane failed to find the back of the net.
Davinson Sanchez (6.4/10): Davinson Sanchez was the pick of the defender for Antonio Conte as he could put in crucial tackles as well as was aerially dominant.
Eric Dier (6.4/10): Eric Dier was able to deal aerially against the intriguing Liverpool and helped his side to keep the opposition at bay for the larger part of the game.
Ben Davies (5.8/10): It was not a night to remember for Ben Davies. The player failed to deal aerially with Diogo Jota which led to the equaliser.
Ryan Sessegnon (6.5/10): Ryan Sessegnon featured as a wing-back for Tottenham Hotspur that is struggling with injuries. Though it was not a great game for the lad, Ryan had a dribble and three tackles to his name.
Dele Alli (6.4/10): Former MK Dons player made it to the playing XI and was excellent for Spurs in the first half. However, he could not capitalize on the chances that were laid.
Tanguy Ndombele (6.5/10): In the absence of a warrior like Pierre Emile Hojbjerg, the player did all the dirty work with Harry Winks. He recycled the ball and sustained the pressure in the game.
Harry Winks (6.4/10): Though there were no notable contributions throughout the game, Harry Winks helped the transition for Spurs from defense to attack smoothly.
Heung Min Son (7.5/10): Though Son was electric for his side in the game against Liverpool, he missed the sitters that could have doubled the lead. Son did not miss the chance in the second half and equalised for THFC.
Harry Kane (7/10): The English striker found the back of the net to give the lead for Spurs. However, he could not find the easy pickings.

Alisson (6.8/10): If any player deserves applause for keeping Liverpool in the game, it is Alisson. The score would have gone the other way if not for Alisson’s saves. However, he messed up with the clearance that led to the second goal.
Ibrahima Konate (6.3/10): In the crucial game without VVD, Konate did the job for his side. He put in great deliveries and fed the forwards. However, he conceded two goals.
Andy Robertson (7.5/10): It was an anti-climatic game for the Scottish full back. He scored the goal, he put in an assist and received a red card as well for his lunging foul.
Trent Alexander Arnold (6.8/10): One more game, one more assist. It has become easy work for the English full-back. The player was the architect behind the second goal of his side.
Joel Matip (6.3/10): The senior most player in the defense, Matip was committing a series of errors that helped Spurs to assert dominance.
Tyler Morton (6.5/10): The young midfielder made his full-time Premier League debut and was impressive despite getting a yellow card. His notable contribution was putting his body on line when Kane had a clear go at the goal.
Naby Keita (6.5/10): Naby Keita did a great job in the midfield in the absence of Fabinho. He also made a few runs in the heart of the midfield that could have ended up in a goal.
James Milner (6.5/10): The war veteran, Milner played the role that Jordan Henderson always did for Liverpool.
Mohamed Salah (6.2/10): The Egyptian King did not have a great game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. He neither created the chance nor scored the goal for his side.
Sadio Mane (6.3/10): The Senegalese international kept the opposition full back busy but was not able to gobble the chance that he had against Tottenham.
Diogo Jota (7.5/10): Despite being 5’10”, Diogo Jota was a pick of forwards for winning the headers against a stacked Spurs’ side. He equalised for the side after putting head to Robertson’s cross.
