Manchester United came out with a dramatic 2-1 victory against Spanish outfit, Villarreal courtesy of Cristiano Ronaldo’s 95th minute winner in a match which looked headed for a draw or even a defeat for the home side for the majority of the 90 minutes.
Cristiano Ronaldo lived up to his reputation of being the big match player and came up with the goods once again scoring the winner from close range to give United their first victory of the season.

However, a rather unusual event happened during the final minutes of the match, after Cristiano had scored the winner. The Portuguese superstar went off in euphoria, taking off his shirt to celebrate at the corner flag.
As other United players joined in the action, a fan from the stands jumped in on them. The fan came in from the other end of the pitch running across the face of the goal jump into the celebration huddle along with the United players.
To his surprise, even Edison Cavani thought he was part of the team and pulled him into the huddle. However, his joy was short lived and one of the stewards recognised the imposter and pulled him away from the group.
Manchester United fans were buzzing after the match, and chanted their star Cristiano Ronaldo’s name after he scored the winner to give them their first victory of the Champions League. The chants of “Viva Ronaldo” was heard all around Old Trafford.
