Cristiano Ronaldo was once again at the centre of the action as he produced another moment of brilliance against Tottenham Hotspur. Portuguese international Bruno Fernandes won the ball brilliantly after pressing high. He then carried the ball forward before passing it to Cristiano Ronaldo.

The number 7 for Manchester produced a scissor cut on the first touch to get past Skipp and then produced a piercing through ball right between Eric Dier and Romero. Edinson Cavani received the delivery and slotted the ball past a hapless Hugo Lloris.

Manchester United have responded well after the 5-0 thrashing against Liverpool last weekend. They are currently leading 2-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium courtesy of goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani.

Ole Gunner Solskjaer looks to have responded well to the criticism but let’s not judge anything so early as Manchester United will face Atalanta next in the Champions League and soon after Manchester City in the Premier League in the next week.
