Watch: Michael Olise gets hit by a bottle by Millwall fans; retorts back with powerful gesture
Crystal Palace came from behind against Championship side Millwall FC, to register a 2-1 victory which ensured their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup. After falling behind to a 17th-minute goal, the Eagles put on a show in the second half to get the job done on the day.
The majority of the credits should be given to Palace’s Michael Olise, who scored the equalizer and then set up the winner to put on a real show in the second half. The youngster scored the equalizer right after the half-time break scoring from the left flank with a powerful strike.

Olise then took it up himself to deliver the final blow on Millwall as he played in a delightful cross for Jean-Philippe Mateta to get his side what turned out to be the eventual winner. Michael Olise’s impact was such on the game, that the Millwall fans could not stand his presence on the pitch.
Just after he had set up the goal for Jean-Philippe Mateta, he went over to take a Palace corner. While preparing to take the corner, Michael Olise had a bottle thrown right at his head from a section of the crowd.
However, instead of making a meal of it, the French prodigy simply took out the bottle from the playing surface. To go with it, he even made a gesture to the fans as if to say keep “the bottles coming,” riling up the home fans even more.
In addition to the bottle-throwing incident, the Millwall fans also chanted out homophobic chants towards Palace’s Connor Gallagher. The club could face some serious punishment from the English FA, who have come down very hard on such ill-spirited acts from fans in recent times.
