Tottenham are currently playing Aston Villa in the penultimate game of their Premier League campaign. The side form London are looking to secure their qualification into the Europa League for next season.

However, their hopes have been dealt a great blow as Tottenham are currently trailing by a goal, after scoring first in the match. Steven Bergwign scored the opening goal almost on his own and fired Tottenham to a 1-0 lead inside 8 minutes.

Aston Villa, then soon found a way back into the game in the 20th minute from almost nowhere. Aston Villa came forward to attack and Nakamba swung in a cross into the Tottenham penalty box from the right flank.

The simple ball reached Sergio Reguilon, who was uncontested in the penalty area looked to hack clear with his weak right-foot.

The Spanish left-back horribly missed his kick and the ball flew past Hugo Lloris’ stretched arm into the far top corner, a shot which any striker would have been proud of, only had it been in front of the opposition goal.

Reguilon has suffered a very poor match so far and was to blame for Aston Villa’s second goal too when he fluffed his clearance twice and Ollie Watkins capitalised on the error and put Aston Villa 2-1 up in the game.
