The El Clasico clash of the two Spanish giants in the Spanish Super Cup showcased one of the greatest matches of this season and so far the best match of the 2022 year even though Real Madrid managed to slip past a winning goal to qualify into the finals of the Spanish Super Cup.
Real Madrid and FC Barcelona displayed an exceptional quality of football especially the Catalan club who have been struggling to deliver results in all stages of football and is currently sitting at the 6th position in the points table.
Joan Laporta expresses his gratitude towards FC Barcelona players after the El Clasico
The FC Barcelona President Joan Laporta was filled with praises for the young Barcelona squad even though they lost the match and believes that all the Catalan fans would be proud of the football displayed by them.
Joan Laporta after the match said in the dressing room, “We are very proud and all of the Culers are proud to be Barca fans, now more than ever.”
“The messages we are receiving from FC Barcelona that much that you have played where you stepped up, you showed talent, you have showed pride and you have outdone yourselves.”
“As the President of Barca with the rest of the board and the Culers all around the world we are all proud to be Barca fans.”
The Catalan club saw some youngsters return onto the pitch in the El Classico game and looked strong as they gave a head on battle with the current league leaders, Real Madrid.
