“We have to win all our games.”- Jurgen Klopp speaking about catching up with Manchester City
With Manchester City’s shocking defeat against Tottenham and Liverpool continuing their winning run, the Premier League title race looks a lot more interesting now than it was a couple of months back. A win against Leeds in their next match will leave the Reds just 3 points to chase up to Manchester City.
Talking about catching up to league leaders, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said that there’s no alternative but to win games and take one game at a time.
He said, “We need to win all our games.
“We expect that [Manchester City will win their games]. We play them once, that’s one we definitely want to win. This game [Leeds], nothing has changed. We cannot win everything in just one game, we just try to win a very difficult PL game. We saw all the faces of Leeds on Sunday.”
Jurgen Klopp’s men secured what turned out to be a convincing win against relegation battling side Norwich after going down by 1-0, before Mane and Salah scored in quick succession, followed by a goal from Luis Diaz.

Jurgen Klopp’s unanimated reaction to Manchester City defeat to Spurs
Talking about his reaction to Manchester City dropping points, Jurgen Klopp said, “The truth, I was on my way home at 2-1 Spurs then I arrived at home and didn’t follow it. I was sure City’d equalise. We went out and the driver was very excited, 2-2 then 3-2, he told me Spurs had won. ‘Oh!’ was my reaction. Nothing has changed, really.“
Jurgen Klopp further added, “Leeds fight to stay in this league and they really never give up so we have to make sure we cannot help tomorrow. We have a lot of work to do.
“Leeds are missing some decisive players, Cooper, Phillips, Bamford. That can hurt as a team, the spine of a team in their best periods. I know that. I expect the same attitude. The result we had [4-3 Sept 2020] I know Leeds are all in. We have to be ready.”
Leeds are coming off of a heavy 4-2 defeat in the hands of their arch-rivals Manchester United and Bielsa would want his team to put up a strong performance against Liverpool in the Premier League.
