Cristiano Ronaldo grace the pitch for the Red Devils once again on Saturday in 4-1 win against Newcastle with the fans at Old Trafford and also around the world were hyped and waiting to see Cristiano in Manchester United colors once again. Ronaldo’s second Manchester United debut was the main talking point of last week and it was a magical moment when he scored a brace on his return to Old Trafford.

Ronaldo opened the scoring deep in first half added time when he tapped in from close range when Newcastle keeper Woodman spilled a low shot from Mason Greenwood. The 36 year old showed great change of pace beating Isaac Hayden before scoring through the keeper’s legs.

Luke Shaw assisted Ronaldo for his second goal and was asked about his impact and what it means to play alongside him. “We knew today he would score. That kind of player he is.” Shaw also spoke about his celebration saying “You know we did all joke about doing it with him, but he was too quick to get away from all of us. We will have time over the season, hopefully we join him and get involved with it.”

After the match Ronaldo thanked the Manchester United fans for the great reception and have his sights set to win the Premier League and the Champions League. After the win against Newcastle, United are top of the Premier League level on points with Chelsea.
