“We want to make it a competitive dangerous night”- Middlesbrough boss Chris Wilder says his team are here to win against Manchester United in the FA Cup

Manchester United are up against Middlesbrough in the fourth round of the FA Cup and Chris Wilder says his team coming to Old Trafford to make it competitive and dangerous for Manchester United. However Wilder at the same time is also aware of the individual qualities that Manchester United possess and that they can hurt them anytime during the game.
“They have some fabulous individuals that can hurt you, and hurt teams around Europe and the Premier League. A huge array of talent to choose from.” Wilder said.
Wilder has also banned his players from swapping shirts with Cristiano Ronaldo after the match and warns his players to not be fuzzy eyed when the team sheets come out as they are here to win and not for sight seeing. Wilder knows his team is clearly the underdog but it wouldn’t be a shock for him if Middlesbrough manage to beat United at Old Trafford.
“It is not sight-seeing for our players. It is not a shirt-swapping situation. I don’t want people going to Old Trafford to enjoy the visit. If they want a shirt, do it in the changing rooms after. We don’t want to be looking at them all fuzzy-eyed. They are up against a competitor.”
Wilder who took over from Neil Warnock and have eight wins from 12 games also added that the team will give everything for 9000 travelling fans in the away end and many more who will watching on TV.
“This is an obligation to play well for our 9,000 fans at the game and those watching on TV. We have to be ambitious and aggressive when we have a chance to cause them problems.”Wilder
