Qatar’s climatic conditions don’t allow the tournament to be held in the summer when the World Cup is generally held. This is why the 2022 FIFA World has to be played in the month of November and December. This shifts the prestigious tournament to the middle of the season.
This is the reason why prolific players like Paul Pogba, and Marco Reus are unavailable for their country. Many athletes have protested against this world cup and FIFA organization, claiming that they have stopped caring about the players.

Human Rights issues raised against the 2022 FIFA World Cup
The Kafala system, issued by Qatar for their migrant workers was seemingly too harsh for the hardworking personnel. According to their contracts, migrant workers can not change jobs or leave Qatar without the sponsor’s permission.
The poor migrant workers had their passports seized by their employers and were facing poor living conditions. They were also denied regular timely salaries and faced all sorts of abuse and exploitation, according to The Guardian‘s report.
Activists and media organizations have been protesting against FIFA’s regimes for over a decade. FIFA has always claimed that Qatar has been abiding by the regulations and policies provided by the organization, but these human rights issues have still often come up as in the previous years, contracting FIFA’s stance.
