2022 World Cup Qualifiers: Slovenia vs Malta Live Stream, Preview and Prediction

Slovenia vs Malta: Slovenia will trade tackles against Malta at Stožice Sports Park for their fifth encounter of the World Cup Qualifiers. Slovenia are currently placed fourth on the points table with a win and a draw while Malta are faced fifth with similar results.
Slovenia vs Malta: Match Preview

Slovenia last played against Slovakia in their fourth group stage game in the qualifier. Slovakia striker Róbert Boženík started the proceedings in the 32nd minute and was soon met with an equaliser in the 42nd by Petar Stojanović to equalise the score before the first half. There were no huge chances created and hence the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
On the other hand, Malta are walking into this encounter with a 3-0 thumping win over Cyprus. It was a wonderful day for Cain Attard as he clinched a brace while Joseph Mbong contributed with a goal to make it an overall 3-0 win. That win got Malta up from the last place but not too inspiring as they’re placed second to last.
