“Worst owner ever”- Owner Stan Kroenke trolled mercilessly for mishandling Arsenal after Super Bowl victory for Rams

Arsenal Owner Stan Kroenke celebrated the Super Bowl 56 victory as his side Los Angeles Rams defeated Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at the SoFi Stadium. The American Tycoon took over as the full owner of the St Louis based Rams team in 2010 before relocating them to Los Angeles in 2016.
Stan Kroenke also built the famous state-of-art SoFi Stadium which costed more than $5 billion making it world’s most expensive sports stadium ever. However Kroenke was relied on loans from the NFL for the stadium and the Arsenal owner was under a lot of scrutiny for splashing such heavy amount on building the stadium. Kroenke took a dig at fans saying “‘It turned out alright’ who criticised him for making the stadium after Rams won the Super Bowl LVI at their home stadium.
“Amazing, and just really proud of this group, So happy for them, and then you talk about these players. They’re unbelievable, and this just hung in there. It was a tough game and I’m just so proud of them executing like they did.” Kroenke said.
Stan Kroenke further added, “As far as building this stadium goes, I think it turned out alright. Thanks to the great fans of Los Angeles, your first Super Bowl trophy in Rams house.”
Stan Kroenke dedicated this trophy to the people of Los Angeles and also thanked the players for their efforts. It was Matthew Stafford’s late touchdown throw to MVP Cooper Kupp saw the Rams take victory in a tense and dramatic conclusion to the NFL season.
With the success of Rams in the NFL, Arsenal will hope for the same under owner Stan Kroenke, however Mikel Arteta’s men are far from their best and no where close to winning a trophy and have a long way to go. Arsenal lost on a number of potential targets in the latest winter transfer window. Arsenal were unable to finalise a deal for Fiorentina’s hot property Dusan Vlahovic who chose Juventus over Arsenal.
