Youssoufa Moukoko is a professional footballer who plays for the Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund and the German national team. Moukoko plays as a striker for both club and country and is known for his deadly finishing. He is considered as one of the most promising talents in the German league.

Youssoufa Moukoko started his career at FC St. Pauli‘s academy in 2014 and moved to Dortmund’s youth system two years later. He played for the German giants’ youth system, and then the reserve team before making his senior team debut in 2021. He has been training with the first team since 2020.

The youngster has been a decisive attacking piece for the Bundesliga giants as he has been delivering goals and making up for the departure of Erling Haaland. Moukoko has played over 49 matches and scored 11 goals for Dortmund.

Moukoko was born in the city of Yaounde in Cameroon, in 2004. The German international is Cameroonian by birth but was brought up in Germany. He grew up playing football in Hamburg, Germany.

Moukoko is yet to make his senior professional debut for his national side Germany. With the form he has been in, it won’t be surprising to see the young striker make his first appearance in the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup.
