Rafael Nadal gets off to a slow start in his last season at the Barcelona Open

12-time Barcelona Open winner Rafael Nadal had made a comeback in his favorite tournament on clay. The No. 4 seed was in good touch and pushed Nadal around the court to take a massive first-set lead. After a good deal of tennis, it was De Minaur, who was one step closer to ending Nadal’s career in Barcelona.

The crowd goes dead silent as the Australian went up 4-1 in the second set, inching closer to a massive victory. This will also be his second victory against the Spanish maestro. It was a tough loss for the crowd to take, but De Minaur might be closer to making it to the third round in Barcelona.
