Former British star Naomi Broady has predicted the future of Novak Djokovic in the game. The Serbian is currently taking a break from the tour after celebrating his historic Olympic gold medal win last week.
With Andy Murray and Roger Federer retired, Djokovic and Rafael Nadal are the only two active players from the Big Four era. Nadal also seems to be nearing the end of his career, possibly at the Laver Cup, but there appears to be no end in sight for the Serb. However, Broady has hinted at when the tennis world might see the 24-time Grand Slam champion retire.
Novak's body seems to be helping him out at the moment despite the ongoing knee issue, which he had surgery on before Wimbledon, so for him, it's a case of when will he feel fulfilled with his accomplishments, especially with the enjoyment of the day-to-day grind.Naomi Broady said on Sky Sports
Djokovic has had a challenging season in 2024, with no ATP tour titles by August for the first time in almost two decades. However, the Olympic gold medal has completed his set of major titles.
There's a lot of things that you do for your tennis that isn't necessarily to enjoy your life, so when that dies down, then I think the Olympics has been the cherry on the top of the cake for him to feel fulfilled in all that he has achieved now.Naomi Broady added
With this major accomplishment, the tennis world is left wondering whether Djokovic will continue to set the standard on the ATP tour or if he might lose motivation and see his career end sooner than expected.
What does Novak Djokovic have left to achieve in the game?
Novak Djokovic won the Olympic singles gold medal last week, defeating Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets. With this achievement, the former World No. 1 became the second player, after Andre Agassi, to complete the Career Super Slam. The Career Super Slam is an accomplishment that involves winning all four Grand Slams, the Olympic singles gold medal, the ATP World Tour Finals, and the Davis Cup.

However, is there any mountain left for Djokovic to climb? The answer is, there could be. The 37-year-old is currently tied with Margaret Court for the most Grand Slam singles titles. He would love to reach 25 titles and establish himself as the undisputed Grand Slam title holder.
Beyond that, a couple of Jimmy Connors‘ records could be within reach. The Serb currently has 99 career singles titles and 1,116 singles wins. Connors holds the record for the most ATP titles (109) and the most singles wins (1,274).
Djokovic is currently third on the list in both of these statistics, with Roger Federer sitting in second place. The Swiss Maestro ended his career with 1,251 wins and 103 ATP career titles.
