Carlos Alcaraz has shown himself to be the king of all surfaces. The Spaniard has won multiple titles at Roland Garros, Wimbledon, and the US Open in his career.

However, there is one surface he is yet to showcase his success, which is the indoors. Nicolas Escude, former French player, feels astonished by it because he believes that the newly-ranked World No.1 was always an indoor player. Escude said on Eurosport:

For me, he’s always been an indoor player. When you see his tennis, he has every shot, you wonder why he wouldn’t be able to shine indoors. It was an anomaly that he still hadn’t won any indoor tournaments and the first one was at the beginning of the year in Rotterdam. I also think there were matches that left a little mark on him, including Bercy against Hugo Gaston (in 2021). In my opinion, there won’t be any problems for Carlos Alcaraz indoors.

Alcaraz won his first indoor title this year at Rotterdam. The Spaniard beat Alex de Minaur in three sets to win his first ATP Title of the season. However, his 2025 season took off at the start of the clay court season. Since April, he has not lost in any tournament before the finals. He has won five of the seven ATP titles since the fourth month of the year.

Carlos Alcaraz rumored to be dating

Rumors about American model Brooks Nader and her connection to the tennis world have been making headlines. Jannik Sinner fueled speculation when he admitted before the US Open that he had a new girlfriend, sparking a frenzy over her identity. Some reports suggested Nader was the woman in question, linking the Italian star with the Sports Illustrated model.

Nader added to the intrigue during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, where she hinted at being involved with a tennis player. She was also spotted at Carlos Alcaraz’s match earlier in the tournament and later returned to watch him defeat Sinner in the final to reclaim the No. 1 ranking. This fueled fresh whispers about her possible connection to the Spaniard.

The story gained more traction when Nader’s sister, Grace Ann, told E! News that Sinner was not the man in question, but that Alcaraz was in fact the new figure in her life. However, doubts remain. Alcaraz left New York quickly after the final, returning to Spain for media duties, making it unlikely he had time to spark a new relationship during the event.

Adding to the uncertainty, Alcaraz had already been linked to Emma Raducanu earlier in the summer, with the pair even teaming up for mixed doubles at the US Open. Still, if Grace Ann’s claims prove true, a possible romance between Alcaraz and Nader could easily dominate both tennis and celebrity gossip columns in the months ahead.

Carlos Alcaraz set to match Andy Murray in net worth

Carlos Alcaraz’s rapid rise has made him one of the most recognizable figures in world sport. His latest triumph at the US Open, where he defeated rival Jannik Sinner, secured him the world No. 1 ranking. The victory also came with a record prize purse of $5 million, though after taxes, his take-home amount dropped by more than $1.3 million. Still, his career earnings show he is firmly among the wealthiest players on tour.

The win in New York pushed Alcaraz’s total prize money beyond $50 million. He is now one of just six players in history to cross that milestone, with Alexander Zverev sitting slightly ahead of him on the all-time list. Given his current form, the gap is expected to close quickly. Andy Murray, who has earned $64 million in his career, is the next big name Alcaraz will aim to surpass.

Prize money inflation has certainly helped Alcaraz climb the earnings ladder at a rapid pace, but his on-court success has been the main driver. With six majors to his name, he has also delivered one of the most lucrative single seasons in ATP history. Heading into the Asian leg of the tour, Alcaraz has already collected over $15 million in 2025 alone, ranking eighth in the record books for most prize money in a season.

Away from tennis, Alcaraz has recently been in the spotlight for personal reasons. Reports linked him to model Brooks Nader, with her sister hinting the rumors might be true. However, Spanish outlets have countered those claims, stating the two are not officially involved. To complicate matters further, some sources suggested Nader may have been linked instead to Alcaraz’s great rival, Jannik Sinner.
