Bhagwat Subramanya Chandrasekhar is an Indian former cricketer who played as a leg spinner. Chandrasekhar recently made the headlines as the former was admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru.
He is in ICU and is stable as more details are awaited, said Karnataka State Cricket Association spokesperson Vinay Mruthyunjaya. BS Chandrasekhar’s wife Sandhya said Chandrasekhar was admitted to a hospital in Bengaluru. “He was fine and was watching (the) match when he suddenly complained of fatigue and slurring in speech,” said Sandhya. “So we took him to the hospital. He is fine and will be back home in two days.”
The 75-year-old featured in 58 Test matches and one ODI for India, took 242 and 3 wickets in the respective formats.
