The Fiend and Randy Orton
Vince Russo is a former WWE writer. The former writer for the company recently discussed WWE’s one of the current hot storylines. Russo was discussing his opinion on the feud between Randy Orton and The Fiend.
Russo felt that the decision of keeping The Fiend off television since WWE TLC has been a mistake. The duo faced off at TLC in an Inferno match. Orton won the match by set The Fiend on fire. The Fiend has since been missing from WWE TV.
The former writer had major criticism for this rivalry. He mentioned that keeping Bray Wyatt’s alter ego off television is just stretching out the feud. This would mean that the casual WWE fans would lose interest in the feud.
The Fiend’s rivalry with Orton
The Firefly Inferno match was organized in TLC, which took place in December. The rivalry is currently being continued by Alexa Bliss. Bliss recently shot a fireball at Orton in order to take her revenge.
Orton has since been wearing a face mask in order to hide his burn marks. He recently announced that despite not being completely fit, he will be participating in the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
WWE Royal Rumble airs live on 31st January, 2021.
