AlphaTauri’s Pierre Gasly lands in trouble after prompting updates on Miami Grand Prix
Pierre Gasly announced installation of new seats in Inaugural Miami GP track
The 2021 Formula 1 season hosted a record breaking 22 races being one of the longest F1 season producing one the most intense dual in Formula 1 history among 7times world champion Lewis Hamilton and reigning champion Max Verstappen. The 2022 season will break this record with 23 Grand Prix’s including the inaugural Miami GP. Miami International Autodrome will host the 2nd Grand prix in US after the US GP in Silverstone.
Miami GP officials and FIA is intense marketing of the new GP and now in their new promotional video Scuderia Alpha Tauri’s Frenchman Pierre Gasly announced that the new track which will host Miami GP in 2022 has installed the first set of seats adding that he is so exited to come back and race there in May this year and signed with saying he hopes to see the fans in Miami at the GP.
“Hi guys Pierre Gasly here from Alphatouri just arrived in Miami and great news the first seats have been installed at the tracks. We are going to be back racing here in May and so exited about racing in Miami. I hope to see you guys here… Chao,” Pierre Gasly said.
The CEO of aftermarq Vincenzo Landino has came out criticising the promoting stratergy by the Miami GP officials tweeting “The team at Miami GP keeps crushing the hype content for the race in May,” and fans also got onboard crirticizing Miami GP of ticketing troubles.
What’s ahead for Miami GP and Pierre Gasly
Miami GP was supposed to take place in 2021 but F1 opted the Jeddah Corniche Circuit in Saudi Arabia instead and now Miami will host it in 2022. The 5.41 km long track features 19 corners with races being 57 laps long. The track is a street circuit, have narrow speedways featuring walls on either side. Its very important for F1 to make the inaugural GP successful as US is one of their prime markets and Miami GP being part of their expanding plans.
Pierre Gasly will drive for Scuderia Alphatouri along side his partner Japan’s Yuki Tsunoda and will be hoping to improve his P9 finish in 2021 drivers’ championship. After his disappointing half season stint with Red Bull in 2019 which ended due to his law performance Pierre Gasly will be hoping to get secure a seat in F1’s top teams and give a title challenge with his performance this season.
