Andretti Global is all set to make its entry into F1 and that has certainly raised their potential competitor’s eyebrows. Andretti Global shall come into the sport with the whole intention of disrupting the competition and hold the sport by the scruff of the neck and take charge of the whole situation.

The ex McLaren formula 1 driver, Michael Andretti is keen to field his team by 2024 by the name of Andretti Global and has also applied to FIA for their approval to do so. Michael Andretti before this tried to take over Alfa Romeo which turned out to be a failed attempt as it was said that control killed the deal and not money.

Red Bull and Mercedes have also been asked about the potential entry of this new powerhouse who is set to make investment that might be a threat to their dominance. The feeling has been mutual as far as their response was concerned. The duo said that the entry of their new competitor should only be allowed if they can add to the series.

Michael Andretti didn’t lose hope after unsuccessful Alfa Romeo take over as he looks determined to field his new team anyway. The owner is not scared to splash the cash or take the plunge in order to take over the F1 world.

Michael Andretti recently said, “The Andretti F1 project is serious. Very serious.”

Although Michael hasn’t revealed the name of his financial backers but has confirmed that they are in it to win without a shadow of a doubt as they continue to knock on the door of FIA for a potential entry in F1.

“They could pay the entry fee as chump change. And in a non budget-capped era have funding to make the top 3 wince. No wonder the establishment are worried.”

“They are in sports already and they think Formula 1 is very attractive at the moment.” As reported by planetf1.

This should send signals to the entire pack of F1 that a new competitor is on the hunt and if they don’t bring out their best, they might be shown the door.
