Former Haas F1 Team driver Romain Grosjean ecstatic about Kevin Magnussen’s return to F1, but downplays any chances of himself returning

Romain Grosjean the former Haas F1 team driver has recently shed some light on the comeback of his former teammate to the Haas F1 Team for the 2022 season.
It has been stated in GPblog that Romain is really happy about Kevin Magnussen’s comeback into F1 after spending a year away from the sport, but when asked if he would have done the same, had he been given the opportunity, Roman said “I would not have returned to F1.”
Kevin has joined the Haas team after the sacking of Nikita Mazepin who came under heavy scrutiny during the final few weeks of his stay at the team. Romain Grosjean has admitted that back in his Haas days he and Kevin were not the best of mates but they got along just fine in their time together at the team.

Romain Grosjean is currently doing his trade in America as an Indycar driver and is very happy with his life at the moment. While talking about it, Roman said, “I’m really happy in the United States and I’m really happy in IndyCar. I am so excited every weekend that I can go in a race and get a shot at the win.”
The Frenchman has made a good habit of finishing in the top three on regular basis in America but still is looking for his first win in the competition. So far his best finish has been second place and is looking to get the first win that has been eluding him since his arrival in Indycar.
Grosjean while talking about his time in F1 has said that he is very grateful that he was able to do F1 for several years and, on his departure from F1 has stressed that it was the right time for him to try another class of racing.
“It was such a huge part of my life, but right now I’m on to the next chapter and the next chapter is about winning races and trying to win a championship.”
It seems Romain has left F1 behind and if go by what he has said, there are almost “no chances” of us seeing Roman Grosjean back in F1 again one day.
