Pierre Gasly is a French racing driver who is currently competing in Formula One for the AlphaTauri F1 team and was born on 7th February 1996.
Pierre so far in his F1 career has entered 88 Grand Prix and has amassed 313 points for the teams that the Frenchman has driven for. The charismatic driver also has 3 podiums to his name in Formula One.
The 2021 season of Formula One was the breakout season for Pierre Gasly as the Frenchman scored over 100 points and carried the AlphaTauri team almost single-handedly during the whole season.
Gasly’s stock in Formula One has increased massively since last season and is now seen as one of the most exciting and promising talents on the Formula One grid.
Pierre Gasly has won one Grand Prix in Formula One
The 2021 season was a breakout season for Gasly but his best outing in Formula One came during the 2020 Italian Grand Prix where he scored his career’s first Grand Prix win.
During the closing stages of the “chaotic” Italian Grand Prix Pierre was able to keep the pacey Ferrari of Carlos Sainz behind him and was able secure 1st place ahead of Sainz and Stroll.
Pierre’s F1 career has been on the rise since then and with the way his career is shaping, it seems he is on the upward trajectory in Formula One. Pierre who is only 26 years old, is currently in peak physical condition and as per some experts has the capability that is required to become a future world champion in Formula One.
The future is looking promising for the young Frenchman and if Pierre is able to secure the Red Bull seat for the 2023 season, then he would have every chance of securing podiums and race wins on a regular basis and that is the ultimate goal when it comes to Formula One drivers.
Pierre’s start to the 2022 season hasn’t been great as he so far in the two races has scored one DNF and finished 8th during the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix.
If Pierre wants the coveted Red Bull seat for next season, then the Frenchman has to do another fantastic season like 2021 and it will help him in realizing his dream of racing in a car worthy of winning championships.
