Formula 1 is back with the ‘Money Machine’ as Netflix confirms Drive to Survive Season 5 and 6

Formula 1’s Season Documentary, Drive to Survive, has got a green flag for the next season. Season 5 and 6, after a lot of criticism for Season 4 that covered the historical 2021 campaign, it seemed difficult for the series to go further without any changes.

Drive to Survive or simply DTS is a Netflix original docufiction web series. It covers high intensifying battles to become the Number 1, covering day to day lives of Drivers and their teams putting their hearts, souls and bags full of cash into the sport.

Showing all these in the most dramatic way possible. Besides this, the Series also offers us the insights into how the Drivers go with their daily lives, the contract talks that take place and the sport is such a big business

DTS has amazing cinematography, with the portraying of all the stories in a way it holds you till the end. With all those slow shots and moves put within that goodly background, Music makes the real-world sport feel like a Movie.

Another benefit of the sports documentary is, that the audience has no compulsion to have any prerequisites of the sport before watching the series. This gives it an upper hand over other sports because it gets deep to that part of the crowd who are not really into any sports, and helps them become the part of the fast sport.

Covid was also an influence to make Drive to Survive this big. People being at home exploited the OTT platform at their best. This also helped Formula 1 and Netflix to a large part.
