Santander Returns to F1; Announces Multi-Year Partnership with Ferrari

As the 2021 Formula 1 season comes to an end, the F1 community is already looking forward to the new season that is fast approaching. Amidst all the new announcements and happenings, Ferrari recently made an announcement that Santander will be partnering with the team for next year, making a comeback in F1.

The bank has already sponsored Ferrari between 2010 to 2017, and Ferrari has confirmed that they will be premium partners once again for next year. Santander’s logo will appear on the drivers race suits, their caps and all activities involving the drivers academy as per their contract.

Santander will also be a part of the team’s GT, upcoming Le Mans Hypercar project and World Endurance Championship entries. This partnership was said to be borne partly with the intentions to assist the team to be net carbon zero by 2030, as the bank has experience in helping other brands improve their environmental credentials.
