Marco Mattiacci is an Italian businessman who formerly was the global chief brand officer and the chief commercial officer at the Faraday future. He was the President and CEO of Ferrari North America. Alongside being the CEO and president of Ferrari Asia Pacific, he was also the former managing director and team principle of Scuderia Ferrari Formula One racing team.
The Italian has now joined Aston Martin as their global chief and commercial officer. Since the Scuderia struggled through their first season of the turbo hybrid era. Marco Mattiacci spent just eight months at the helm of Ferrari in 2014. After previously leading the Italian marque’s operations in North America as president and CEO.
The luxury British manufacturer led by Lawrence Stroll; a Canadian billionaire businessman is part-owner of the Aston Martin F1 Team with whom the move of Marco Mattiacci was effective immediately.
Marco Mattiacci was excited for the move to Aston Martin and said that, “The new chapter for Aston Martin is the most exciting project in the automotive industry right now, and I am thrilled to join the incredible leadership team assembled by Lawrence Stroll and Tobias Moers in this role of global chief brand and commercial officer”
After 109 years of global affection, passion, and loyalty, Aston Martin is now igniting a new breed of customers with its next generation of product, ultra-luxury customer experience, and return to grand prix racing for the 2022 season.
“I look forward to being the custodian of this iconic brand, which sits uniquely in the crosshairs of ultra-luxury and high performance, working as part of a skilled and passionate team,” said Marco adding onto his statement.
