Ferrari announces a strategic partnership with Qualcomm to drive future digital transformation

We all know that Ferrari is a mode of transition and transformation. A deal with a San Diego based group called Qualcomm has been agreed to as confirmed in a tweet by the Italian giants on their official Twitter handle. This deal with a tech giant like Qualcomm will go a long way to act as a catalyst for the process.

More importantly, Ferrari needs to transform digitally and that’s where the premium product of this San Diego based group shall come into place.

The deal shall be applicable to both the racing and the vehicles on the road and also the common project which include the likes of so called digital cockpit which has been identified as one of the more important project.

Ferrari CEO, Benedetto Vigna was delighted with the latest development. He expects the collaboration to generate more efficiency and help them explore digital technology.

This deal can be looked as a long term project to use Qualcomm’s automotive technology to have an edge on its competitor when it comes to its future car. Ferrari like other giants as Volvo, Honda, Renault and GM has joined a long list when it comes to utilizing a tech company’s suite of car technology. This deal could be exactly what the company was looking for to accelerate the transformation.
