Since then, the team has had its share of ups and downs over the years. The 2021 F1 world champion and the new heir of car bearing #1, Max Verstappen, will race alongside Mexican Sergio Perez, dubbed the perfect team player and minister of defense by the fans for his exceptional defending under demanding circumstances.
Red Bull’s F1 engine supplier, Japanese automaker Honda although has exited from motorsport in 2021, will continue to supply the engine until 2025 as per the contract, due to engine freeze.
