Epic Games has revealed that a Fortnite crossover with The Suicide Squad begins tomorrow (August 3), starting with Fortnite Bloodsport Skin. Bloodsport is putting Superman on notice. Ahead of the Man of Steel’s arrival in the Chapter 2 Season 7 Battle Pass, his adversary is ready to make the first move in Fortnite. Fortnite Bloodsport Skin
The Suicide Squad is coming out Friday, Aug. 6, in both theaters for those who wish to watch it there and on HBO Max for a premium at-home experience. The latest DC Comics film will feature a colorful cast of anti-heroes working together on their suicide mission. As introduced by Elba, “Bloodsport is coming to the island and he’s playing for keeps”. Over a montage of the Bloodsport skin in action, Elba gives a little more background to his character.
Along with the Bloodsport Outfit and Starro Specimen Back Bling — complete with a rat that has found his way onto his backpack, you’ll also get four Sprays: Springing Harley, I’m a Superhero, It’s Peacemaker, and He’s a Shark. Available separately, complete Bloodsport’s look with the A.R.G.U.S. Sabre Pickaxe and Bloodsport Camo Wrap.
Bloodsport will be added to the item shop at 8 PM ET – which means that while some Fortnite players will get their hands on the skin on Tuesday, UK players will be waiting until 1 AM on Wednesday. This new Fortnite Bloodsport skin will be released at 5 PM PST/ 7 PM CST/ 8 PM EST on August 3rd, so players will have to wait a little bit before they can add this Suicide Squad character to their collections.
This particular version of the DC Comics character joins the Suicide Squad in the upcoming film after being imprisoned for injuring Superman with a Kryptonite bullet, so fans of villains will undoubtedly be excited to get their hands on this DC Comics outfit. Bloodsport follows a diverse mix of skins to join Fortnite – in the last couple of months, fans have been joined by footballer Harry Kane, NBA legend LeBron James, Marvel’s Loki, and even more.
